Legends Gymnastics, LLC is Hiring a Front Office Receptionist Near North Andover, MA

Job Purpose: Greet Customers in a kind and courteous manner, register students and answer general questions.

Primary Job Function: We are looking for a candidate who is sociable & outgoing to join our team. M-F 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Saturday 8:30 AM-12:30 PM. The individual is responsible for efficiently handling the face paced front office while ensuring a high level of customer service. Main duties include answering phones and emails, registering students, collecting payments, retail sales and interacting with clients. Attention to detail and a strong ability to multi-task are essential to success in this role.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Collect payments and monitor client accounts
  • Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, process registrations and address complaints
  • Answer telephones, direct calls and take messages
  • Monitor incoming messages via social media and texting and respond promptly
  • Compile, copy, sort and file records of attendance, business transactions and other activities
  • Operate office machines such as photocopiers, scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems computers. Knowledge of Mac computer systems preferred, but will train.
  • Maintain and update filing, inventory, database systems
  • Open, sort, and route incoming email, answer correspondence as needed

Job Knowledge:

  • Clerical-Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing and spreadsheets using Apple based system (Numbers and Pages).
  • Customer and Personal Service-Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation for customer satisfaction.
  • English Language-Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar.
  • Gymnastics Knowledge-The ability to understand gymnastics skills and terminology, structure of the program and to communicate effectively to clients regarding proper class placements (will train if needed)

  • Speaking-Talking to others to convey information effectively.
  • Reading Comprehension-Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.

Additional Job Activities

  • Cleaning - light duty cleaning and sanitizing, vacuuming and general tidying of lobby areas if needed
